Trapez ranks 18th in the latest competitionline ranking

This ranking positions our work within the competitive landscape and also gives us an opportunity to look back on an intense year in 2025.

We view competitions as a central component of our work—as a testing ground, a touchstone, and a space for further development. They offer the opportunity to continuously evolve both in terms of content and design, to discuss issues collaboratively, to take a stand, and to develop new approaches to solutions. This way of working is closely linked to our understanding of collaborative and interdisciplinary work and shapes our projects beyond the competition process.

In addition to four contracts awarded through negotiated procedures, we achieved two competition successes in 2025:

1st Prize: “New Construction of the Veddel Social District Center and Redevelopment of Immanuelpark in Hamburg” in collaboration with EGL Entwicklung und Gestaltung von Landschaft. The project is already underway.

3rd prize for “New Construction of the European School in Timmendorfer Strand” in collaboration with tBL Landschaft.
