At the heart of the new upper secondary wing is the OLAZ, an open learning center of about 160 m² located above the foyer. Designed with an atelier-like character, it offers library resources, a variety of workstations, group tables, a quiet study room, a seating landscape, and even a small kitchen. Beneath it, a new foyer enlarges the school’s modernized break hall and now forms the central entrance to the school.

The new auditorium on the ground floor, equipped with a stage, provides space for around 500 people and can host theater productions and other events. Its striking, differentiated red ceiling reinforces the theatrical atmosphere and sets the space apart as a distinctive venue within the school.

The two-story extension embraces the schoolyard, forming together with the existing buildings a new sheltered inner courtyard that strengthens the sense of identity and community.
